I was told that Light Sussex Hen layer at about 6-9months old is this correct?
I'm still waiting for them to lay.

Hi BrookHilton, and welcome!! I don't know where you are located, but winter is shorter daylight hours, and they don't lay as well in the winter. Don't be surprised if it's Spring before they lay. But, the longer they wait, the better it will be for them. They don't need to start too soon.

They should be laying unless they are Roos or stressed.
