I have been studying the responses to questions about gender here, and I think I have my answer. To be sure, here was my question: roo or hen: 10 weeks ago I bought 2 straight-run australorps. There is no coloring in the combs or development of wattles etc. There are no spurs, just the tiny bump same as the assumed pullets (sold as such) of the other breeds I bought. I think now all pullets, which is great since I promise the neighbors NO ROOS. (I'm in unincorporated county subdivision, zoning against poultry, but as long as nobody complains, I'm home free)(the only neighbor I have that I think would complain just to be mean won't, since He Has Chickens). Do my observations and conclusion seem right?

I dug out my camera, and am now charging batteries. I guess I will have pics tomorrow. Oh, and the feathers in hackles and saddle are round-tipped, not sword.
