My baby silkies colorings are coming in sooo pretty. I know they are some sort of partridge but they have cuckoo markings as well at least 2 have the barring one most their feathers. IMG_9661.jpg IMG_9655.jpg IMG_9646.jpg

Since I didn't really raise partridge or cuckoos I'm not sure what you're going to end up with.

I can't remember if you can see barring on partridge when they're wet or not.

They aren’t wet, lol but 1 only has it on wings and the other 2 have it all over. So I’m pretty sure they are partridge cuckoo. The light colored one is just partridge I think because I’ve seen the barring on just partridge wings before. But who knows I think they are a very unique color either way.

Someone gave me a partridge hen years ago. Her background color was gold. An actual gold color under the darker partridge markings. She was eye catching. But I didn't raise them so I sold her to someone else.
