supposed to sleep in the coop at night-to no avail. So this morning I only let the ladies out in the yard and am keeping the roo in the coop for a few days. I hope that will show him the coop=home? I'm afraid that once I DO let him out, he'll just take off and we'll never see him again! Any advice on convincing my roo that its better to sleep in the coop at night will be greatly appreciated!

I have 5 hens that roost in one of my red pines. I use to get them down everynight but it got old fast. I now just let them roost in the tree and every morning they are on my porch waiting for me to come out lol.
