I currently have 1 BSL, 2 RSL's, and a BO/Wyandotte, all 2 years old and laying well. I just ordered Blue Orpington eggs, Blue Silkie eggs and White Silkie eggs. Can the silkies live with the other breeds or do they need their own coop? I didn't even consider this when I ordered them, it just dawned on me that maybe there would be some conflict. It wouldn't be a big deal as the 4 I currently have are in the old coop/run and aim building a bigger coop/run. I was planning to replace the old one because I wanted a different configuration and hubby wouldn't listen when I made suggestions, so I'm building it myself. The larger one can fit them all but if the silkies have to have a coop of their own I can accommodate. If they can all live together do you have any suggestions as to how to integrate them into the new coop?

Silkies will do just find with the rest of the flock. Just remeber like with any new addition, introduce them slowly.
