Hey guys, I'm new to this ChickenForum place. Not sure what to do. I guese I should start off by saying what breeds of chickens I have... Lets see here... on my parent's farm we have Buckeyes, Blue Orpingtons, and Javas. We also have a few other breeds, including crosses. I'm just a kid, but my parents are letting me own my very own flock of Javas! Yipee! I have 1 black roo (Black Ashes), 1 mottled hen (Star Polkadots), and 2 black hens (Tin Lizy and Mystery). I'm happy with my little flock. My twin sister has the Buckeyes, and Mom has Blue Orpingtons.
Well, I hope that this is what I was sopose to write here...

Welcome! Glad you joined.
Hello & Welcome!
Hi all I am Margaret from Taurimu Poultry in the Hawke's Bay New Zealand. Check out my web site www.taurimupoultry.com About to browse to see what is up on here.
Hi I'm Margaret Kellogg from Fairbanks, Alaska. I started with a few hens and a couple of ducks. Now I have several breeds of chickens, ducks, geese and a few turkeys. My goal is to provide the Fairbanks area with healthy, breed specific chickens and ducks. The death rate and shipping costs are terrible. My primary breeds are white & black Silkie, Frizzle cochin, banty cochin, Polish, Lt. Brahma, Easter Eggers and Black Alstralope. I do have some mixed banties that are adorable. We have Khaki, Buff, Mallard, Magpie, Rouen, Runner and Cayuga ducks. Embden, African, Chinese and Buff geese. It's not a huge enterprise but my critters free range, no medications and tend to be very healthy and productive. I really enjoy incubating my own chicks and ducks.
