You can tell spring is here when all the new chicks start showing up.

Do you know what you got?

Well the man at the feed store said they are most likely bearded. He said he’s never had anyone ask him that before.

Robin I do have a question for you. So I believe 2 of my babies do have pasty butt. I’ve been checking on them constantly they do have energy and have been eating and drinking. The first one I noticed I willed him off right away and I’ve been checking on him since. The other one I just noticed and I’ll be doing the same. They do have the water with the Save-a-Chick powder in it. I also do have them on medicated chick starter feed from ManaPro

Stress can cause it. Just do what you're doing and keep an eye on them that they don't seem to be declining. Are they on medicated chick starter?

And to show I'm sick, I had no idea they were Silkies. I absolutely did not catch that in the first pics.

Good on the medicated starter, at least there's less chance of it being cocci.

I'm beyond ready for this to go somewhere else.
