Here are a few of my darling babies.
Pretty flock! How old are they?
This is Lach & Nessa
They range from this years gosling all the way to 12
Awesome birds ... congrats!
(I miss my geese ~ sniff ~ sniff)
I don't think any home should be without a pair!! The tufted Romans & Pilgrims have been very quiet & friendly. Of course, the bar-head & Speckled Bellies are too.
Stunning real Treasures .
I completely agree
Thank you, I'm to gets waterfowl sanctuary/rescue started here
Thank you very much. They're my world as odd as it sounds
Do you have to have a pond to keep geese and ducks?
Doesn't sound odd to me. All my critters are my world, my therapy.
grgfishkeeper - You don't have to have a pond. We actually have two ponds on our farm. Our larger pond is further from the house and I don't want my waterfowl down there because many predators come to drink there. We have a smaller pond close to the house, but it's in need of repair.
My ducks and geese seem perfectly content with just kiddie swimming pools.
Beautiful black swans!
Beautiful! I hope to have ducks and geese one day.
