Hey all. I have been taking care of an older RIR who no longer lays and was given to me for months now and want to keep her from being alone. A lady told me she raises silkies and had a chocolate rooster she was gonna have processed and I wanting to rescue it and she tells me I can have a laying silkie also but now I am concerned as to what I need to do or even if this will work. Any advice will be great. The RIR is a character and even jumps on my dirt bike even when it's running. I don't want it to hurt the smaller one and hope the rooster may help too.
