Good morning! Snapped a photo of my rottie, Kali, in the run this morning when we let the girls out. Just thought I'd share! She loves the chickens. She even tries to play with them, but they seem completely unbothered by her!

The biggest threat with dogs and chickens is they sound like squeak toys when they're little.

Dogs can be the best defender when it comes to protecting the birds. I can see that "pack" has a future together.

I could see that being a problem with our pit for sure. We won't be introducing him to the flock. We were very careful during the introduction to Kali, but she wanted to mother them more than anything. Licked the ones that would go nose to beak with her and let them snuggle up to her belly to get warm. She even tried to give them her ball hoping one of them catches on to the ball eventually. It's the cutest thing!
