New to chickens and this forum! Hi from Southeast Georgia!
Hello and welcome aboard! Congratulations on joining chickenhood. What kind do you have?
I have 2 banty hens, probably mixed but Im not sure. I also have 1 rooster 2 white leghorns 3 barred rock 1 silver laced 4 buff Orpingtons 2RIR adults. Then I have 5 RIR and 2 black star pullets. I love having my chickens!
Nice mix of sturdy good breeds! Those chickens are so addicting aren't they. If they weren't so darned cute and fun! I love watching their personalities come through as they grow.
I know. So do I they are so funny! They are very addicting. I didn't get anything done yesterday for watching my chickens. I want to learn there personalities and learn there little quirks! If all works out I may get me and incubator and raise some.
What kind do you have?

Greetings from SW Ohio and Welcome to the Chicken Forum!!!
Thank you all!!! Here are a few pics of my incubator, and of some chics I bought, from TSC and a local!
Today is day 15 on my eggs! I have only taken 3 eggs out, out of 25 so far. There may be more right before lockdown, but I am not sure yet!!!!! I am so eggcited to see what hatches!!!!! Hatchday is the 27th
Great idea to put stones in the water. Cute babies too!
Thank you! They are so sweet! the older ones have been eating out of my hand and run to it when I stick it in there
Chickens are a lot of fun to watch.
Which TSC do you patronize? Waycross? It's a little closer for us to go to the new one on I-295 on Jacksonville's north side.
We have Aricanas and Orpingtons, but the ladies are getting too old to lay so my wife is going to order some more in March. They come to our door, delivered by the post office.
I go to the one in Waycross, because that is where I live. It's the closest. I like to buy local if I can, but sometimes you gotta go to the chain stores. I love to watch my chickens, young and old. I got the ones from TSC to eat out of my hand today, now they run to me when I put my hand in there!!!! it is so adorable!!!!!
I have some relatives on my Mother's side in Madison. My grandfather was born there.
