Just north of Brisbane :) and have family in Mackay & Sydney & various other places in Oz

Which part of Qld are you?
I'm not far from Gatton to the west.
My only family here is my daughter who lives at greenbank, another daughter in the USA, my partner has a brother in Mackay, well Sarina actually.
What breeds of chooks do you have?

We are first time chook owners, just this year. We have two barnevelders, one is standard colours and one is a lighter colour version. One buff silkie, and two blue (I think their colour is called that?) pekins. :)

We have family all over Mackay, including Sarina :)
It is a small world.

I hope you were okay with the flooding out your way last year? We were mostly unaffected here with minor damage, but joined the "Mud Army" to help do what we could. I love the way Aussies put together and help one another :)

Love your photos by the way, gorgeous chooks!

The second photo is of my two young Belgian D'uccle's, the one on the left standing is a Lavender Hen the one sitting is a Porcelain Rooster,
these were just 4mths old when the photo was taken.

Thanks, we were O.K in the floods, just very wet soggy ground where we are, it was roaring through a small creek on the property tho!
