Hi! Welcome! Lots of great beginner threads on here. I wish this forum had existed when I was first starting out. My first words of advice, make the coop bigger than you "think" you'll need. Never know when you may want to add to your flock. Better have a little too much room than not enough. Second, take into consideration the predators you have in your area to deal with when setting up your coop and if you are going to have one - your run. Third, have fun! :D Chickens are so entertaining. You are really going to enjoy having them.

Hello from NC. I am here educating myself so that I am ready to have chickens when I buy my own place next year.
WELCOME !
IF you can somehow buy your own place THIS YEAR....you will likely be "better-off". Prices are down yet...AND interest rates will probably never be lower than NOW.

Worth trying. :)

Welcome! :) Good on you for doing the research before you buy the chickens! They are a lot of fun and are worth the time and money spent on them!
