morning all, my avatar is my German Spitzhauben "Staush" he is the sweetest rooster ever, loves to be held, petted, hand fed, hes a doll! However I have 2 rosters I am trying to find homes for, I have tooooo many! anyone interested in a GORGEOUS Splash Americauna? He is 5 months old or a handsome all white "Americana"? he is sweet also and 2 years old now

 

Ah, yes, German Spitzhauben is the same breed as Appenzeller Spitzhauben, I believe.

 

We're not far from you in Marengo. I have a dozen Buckeyes, 3 Barred Rocks a Golden comet and a dozen Silver Spangled Hamburgs. I like the Spitzhaubens too and was considering them. I'll probably just concentrate on the Buckeyes and Hamburgs for now. Love my "dalmatian" chickens.
