1892 Guinea Fowl.jpg
In the late 1800s and early 1900s Tobacco companies included collecting cards with their chewing tobacco and cigarette packaging. There were every kind of sports, Olympic, famous people and animal card. The premise was to get the consumer to try to collect all the cards in any given set. In my father's estate there was a roll top desk with sets of antique tobacco cards collected into notebooks, mostly baseball. And of course, we can't find most of them. Here is an 1892 tobacco card of a Guinea Fowl. For Robin.

By the way, Poultry Show Central has put out a list of all the shows which are scheduled for October and I believe November.

Really, when you get the living together right they are some of the best birds to have around. The challenge is getting the living together part to coalesce.

How many are doing those shows?

I saw two or three others, one is in OK. I guess now I'll have to do a search to see if I can find where they were at. Unless they've changed their minds and are now having in person shows.
