Normally I'm not much on weeping either and I'm a woman. But hit me at the right time and look out.

I know what's going to happen when I lose Maisey. That's if she goes before me.
That reminds me of Brandy, my Dachshund, well she was suppose to be my son's dog but he never paid her much attention. I did cry after her little accident, only the 2nd time in my life I cried over a dog, the first time I was little. She fell off the pier and I think had a stroke not sure, she was 14 years old She started swimming towards the bank and suddenly 1v leg quit working and she was swimming in a circle then went under. I jumped in and pulled her out and tried to revive her but after about 20 minutes realized it was pointless and put her out of her misery.

Yeah it is. I was extra close to her,,first house dog I'd had and very comical to watch with all her antics she did.She loved fireworks, even rolled around on them after they were done, chased rabbits, squirrels and even mice. She'd sit and wait at a mouse hole just like a cat :ROFLMAO:. I might get that way when Annie my beagle goes, she's my little buddy too.

I think this is the first time you mentioned Annie. My first dog was a Beagle named Suzie but then I was only three and who knew what a Beagle was.

Everyone knows about Maisey because I can't shut up about her. I talk to total strangers about her. They probably think I'm a little off. I'm going to take her and the rescue Chi, Trixie, with me to the Attorney's office on Tues. I'm absolutely certain he'll be thrilled. (sarcasm)

I've had several beagles. I use them for rabbit hunting. I've been around hunting dogs about my whole life. Dad was a big hunter, trapper and fisherman. We've had all sorts of hunting dogs, bird dogs, raccoon dogs, squirrel dogs and rabbit dogs. I've had a beagle since the 90s. I have Annie and Brittany now.
