    Breda cockerals

Here are the 8 boys. In keeping 3 to start. The rest are going. I'm keeping 3 mottled ones that are showing what I'm looking for in the standard.
If anyone wants them come get them.

    Horse's abscess

    Horse's abscess

A woman was riding my horse regularly by agreement. She's a good rider. My horse inadvertently got trimmed and ridden the next day. 2 days later came up lame on a Thursday. She tells me that Sunday because she got busy! Some people are so stupid. She's one of those people where 95% of all conversations end up talking about herself.

    First Dirt Bath

    First Dirt Bath

It was warm and sunny so I took my Sept surprises out for a dirt bath. They had a blast rolling around and kicking the dirt up.They are 3.5 wks and the little black one is 2.5 wks.I got really lucky and got a white one,a brown one,a silver one and the little black one. They'll look good in the flock.

    Fall Coop

    Fall Coop

Our coop got some new fresh straw bedding. We removed the hardware cloth underneath so the chickens could dust bath and scratch freely at their bedding. We still have the fringe, but we covered it up with dirt and straw. I also added a 5 gallon waterer - I was tired of refilling that small one.
I know the nest box curtains are small...I didn’t have enough fabric. Oh well, I’ll make new ones later!

    Rooster acting crazy suggestions

I have a light Brahma Rooster that keeps biting the hens in he neck and actually will have feather in his mouth. Why on earth would he start doing that. They actually scream!
