I just noticed this red mass in my rooster's eye. It goes from one side of the eye to the other on the bottom half but not the top. I'm not sure if it's an eye injury or possibly a worm? I didn't want to dig around too much and irritate his eye even more. You can clearly see a difference in swelling/inflammation in this eye from the other. We have another rooster (his brother) and they will occasionally get into a fight but usually get along well.

I see something that looks like bubbles near what may be a hematoma. Do you have any saline? Rinse that eye with saline.

And if you can, get some antibiotic eye ointment at the feed store.

I'm going for hematoma.

Is this the same bird with the damage to the comb?
