I gave some thought to getting a dell with Linux on it which is another part of Unix. I couldn't make myself do it. Probably because I hated Unix so much. So, I got a Mac.
They've put out more user friendly software. There are a ton of people that like it and don't have to put up with Microsoft.
The hen still hasn’t laid an egg. I made a few more nestboxes and she’s checking them all out, spending a few minutes in one, half an hour in the next.
If she was egg bound you'd see her not feeling right. Could she have come off a molt and hasn't gotten back in the swing of things yet? The other very slim possibility is internal laying but it's been long enough now you'd see her feeling punky.
We’ve finally got an egg. I’m not sure if it is this hen’s or her daughter’s. I think pretty soon we’ll have nine hens laying, plus the one brooding her eggs in the neighbour’s coop.
LOL About the neighbor's coop. And they don't mind? Nine, that's a lot of egg laying going on. After this long you'd see if she's having an issue.
The family is doing well. Baby Biring had his first traditional ceremony today. Tomorrow he’s allowed out of the house for the first time.
