So far we get poop, feathers, and eggs, in that order.

Compost & breakfast as it were.

Only 115 today, spraying the coop to cool it a bit now & then:cool:.

A shot of what would like to eat our chickens, taken from inside the house under construction up the hill from the coops.

Yikes! I usually have hawks here throughout the day but so far (knock on wood) I have an abundance of crows right now so no hawks. If I'm home, and the girls are out to play, then Lily our German/Lab is out with them to chicken-sit. Inside run play if I'm gone.

Welcome aboard the forum! What kind of chickens do you have?

Wonder what kind that is. Red tail, Coopers? Can't really see the head or tail. Looking like she/he is waiting for something tasty to walk by. Eeeeeekkkkkk!

I wondered about an owl but I honestly couldn't see that well. Could be me as my eyes aren't great anymore.
