I have never heard my chickens make this noise before, I googled it and found it sounds like purring but it's lower pitched than the videos I've seen, she isn't lethargic or showing any other signs, she seems perfectly happy, she was preening with the other 2 about 5 minutes before I took the video, im just wanting to be sure it's nothing else, also sorry it's so quiet please turn volume up, thank you Chicken (please click link)
Someone else mentioned her chicken purring recently. It's the first time I've heard it. It's a sweet sound. A contented sound. She might be thinking about the next egg to be laid.
