Cute! What I would do for my ducklings is put some baby oil on them before letting them swim. It gives them oil to help keep their feathers dry since they don't have moma duck for oil.

How long do you need to do this?

Next comes the bath tub!
Loved bath time with my ducks, they were always fun to watch splash and dive in the water!

I don't remember for sure, but I think when they start getting their adult feathers their oil gland starts working. It wasnt that often we have them water to play in when they where little.

Very cute. But I would not use baby oil. The ducks prean themselves after and baby oil is not for consumption. I just put mine in the sink or tub for about 5 minutes then back uder the heat lamp, they dry off in minutes.
