Hey, do you live in Costa Rica? I've put a lot of thought into this but still on the drawing board. I was thinking taking apart each pallet and re-using the boards

No, I don't. My reason for keeping at least part of the coop wire is due to the heat and humidity you have there.

I figured you were. Pallet boards will rot quickly if not sealed.

chickens are cute. birds are funny. all birds also are kind of stupid
when i refill their food every morning with a cup of feed the one that just started laying tries to put her head in between the cup and the bottom of the feeder. I have to wait five minutes for her to move or i have to gently move her away. she waits for her sister

Fill me in on what happens when you try to upload them. I need what you're using to upload and your browser if it keeps up.

Please don't tell me it's an Android.

What went wrong? It might have been temporary.

Thanks, that is what I thought. This is something some European people say at the moment on the continent, but I do not know why… I am going to investigate…

Robin, I just saw you asked me a question awile back about a post I put up. Sorry I didnt respond sooner as I dont always see things in a timely manner. You asked if I used mailboxes for nest boxes in the coop I just built. they were cat litter containers by tidycat litter. sorry it took so long to respond. Have a great day.

Don't worry about it. I appreciate the answer. The pic was taken in just such a way they looked narrower, like mailboxes.

Hey Chickenmom, have you tried warm oatmeal with some tuna-in-water? Garnished with buggies.

Hello, I’m New!

This is my first time raising and owning backyard chickens. My husband mentioned that he wanted chickens when we got a house. When we got to the feed store I couldn’t help myself and we got chickens. Now I’m learning so much more about chickens.
