Henmahal so called because it has a roof better than the one on the house. Transparent carbon somethingorother "plastic" to make the most of the Pacific Northwest, mostly cloudy, weather.
Two old ladies are the current residents with free run of completely fenced backyard.
Henmahal is enclosed on three sides with its 5'x24' back and upward sloping roof to the wind open with chicken netting on the 10'x24' front. It can be completely enclosed in the winter with tarping but I have found that the fully feathered Light Brahmas don't need special handling.
Picture to follow.
