Greeting from West Virginia.....new to the group, but follow so many on Facebook! Started my coop late spring with Rhode Island Reds, that was given to me....instantly fell in love, and went off the deep in...hatched 11 babies 2 weeks ago, last weed bought 6 Barred Rocks, 2 Buff Orps, and 4 Black Cochins, all 6 months old...plus 2 small Polish Crested babies....should I mention I have 12 eggs in the incubator, due to hatch out around the 7th?? Addicted to chickens??

Hi Cheryl! Those chickens are mighty addicting! My hubby & I are notorious for working our days around the girls. Always making sure one of us is home early enough to lock them up tight into their house for the night and there to take care of them bright and early in the morning. They have us quite well trained I must say. ;) Definitely love at first peep! Our first girls were day old chicks when we got them. Totally clueless and totally in love the first day. :D
