I am currently serving overseas and can't wait to get home and get some more chickens. My youngest son is running the coop for us while I am over here. This is the first year in a while that we haven't gotten any new chicks, well he did have a broody mom hatch out two, so needing some new RIRs. Probably get them in OCT or NOV ready to lay in the spring! Currently have about 50 red sex link, black sex link, Buff Orphingtons, Easter eggers and welsummers. My son sells eggs at the local farmer's market and to some local customers. Free range on 3 acres, penned at night.
